Aurora - Latin meaning dawn, the first light of day.

The Aurora Borealis or Aurora Australis - also Latin meaning the northern or southern dawn given because when visible it causes the sky to glow as if the sun were rising early. The aurora is an explosive display of light as high energy particles collide with the atmosphere.

AuroraGraFX - The dawning of a new day in computer graphics. An explosion of digital color and imagery as the creative energy of the mind collides with the digital realm.

AuroraGraFX - is my online presence featuring some of my computer graphic (CG) work both personal as well as professional. My main artistic toolset consists of LightWave, Maya, Photoshop, DigitalFusion, AfterEffects, Premier as well as numerous other applications.

My main background has been in the biological and medical sciences as well as an extreme devotion to astrophysics and theoretical physics. So I have taken my skills in these areas and mixed them with CG to provide services to those and other communities. In addition to the canned CG applications I utilize my programming skills developing exciting and new vistas into the realm of scientific visualization.

Along with this I also love the LightWave community and am devoted to helping and sharing in any and all ways that I can with this terrific group of people. Having said that I have many personal projects which you can explore here at AuroraGraFx.
